Welcome to B&B HV40
Welcome to HV40, a charming B&B set in a beautiful historic building on the harbour of Maassluis. This unique house was built in 1868 by a prominent family of shipowners and shipbuilders, and for almost 100 years it was home to a doctor’s practice. Today it is the perfect setting for a luxurious and personal bed & breakfast, where modern comfort meets authentic charm.
At HV40, hospitality and comfort come first. Our rooms are stylishly furnished and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend away or a memorable night somewhere special, HV40 is the perfect place to stay in Maassluis.
The location is ideal for discovering the charm of Maassluis. The house sits right on the harbour, close to the National Towage Museum and the lovely walking routes along the Nieuwe Waterweg. Our rooms are comfortable and offer a luxurious stay with a personal touch!

Rooms
Each room has an English wrought-iron double bed, a seating area and a coffee & tea corner. As a nod to the past, the rooms are named after the days when the house was still a doctor’s practice.
The Practice, on the ground floor.
The Waiting Room, on the first floor, reached by its own separate staircase.
Unfortunately the house is not wheelchair accessible, because of the steps and level differences from the street.
